All Aux Powers and how to make them in Pokémon Legends: Arceus

When designing Pokémon Legend: Arceus, Game Freak had to spend a lot of time building the legend of what became the ancient version of Sinnoh, the Hisui region. And since the entire game takes place in the distant past, a lot of the items players are used to having to replace due to the lack of current technology for the duration of the game.

Items that can’t make a trip to the past are modernized Battle Items, like X Attack or X Defend, which must be changed so they don’t show up at the factory. Instead of the Battle Items that players normally use to boost a Pokémon’s stats in battle, we now have Aux Powers and some other Battle Effect items that can be crafted naturally. And instead of increasing single stats, most of them either increase multiple stats or have side effects that duplicate the effects of other items that aren’t in the game. Legend: Arceus.

All of these items can be crafted or found in countless other places in the region. They are all single-use items that can only be used in battle, with their effects ending as soon as the Pokémon undergoing the buff is returned to its Poké Ball.

Aux Evasion

“An item that helps move is less likely to attack a Pokémon in battle. This effect will disappear if the Pokémon leaves the battle”.

Aux Guard

“An item that greatly increases a Pokémon’s defense during battle. These effects will disappear if the Pokémon leaves the battle”.

Aux Power

“An item that greatly increases a Pokémon’s attack stats during battle. These effects will disappear if the Pokémon leaves the battle”.

• Two swords

Dire Hit

“An item that greatly increases a Pokémon’s critical attack rate during a battle. This effect will disappear if the Pokémon leaves the battle”.

Aux Powerguard

“An item that greatly increases a Pokémon’s attack and defense stats during battle. These effects will disappear if the Pokémon leaves the battle”.

Dumplings of choice

“A dumpling will cause the Pokémon to become stationary while moving during battle. The Pokémon will deal more damage using that move, but will also take more damage. ”

“When eaten, this curious snack temporarily swaps a Pokémon’s attack stats with its defense stats.”

“These pickled vegetables are a Pokémon to fight. The Pokémon has a tough stance that increases the power of the Pokémon’s moves by 50%.
