Ovechkin’s first two goals were 56 seconds apart against two Florida goalkeepers – the first against Bobrovsky, and the second against Spencer Knight – in the second half. In fact, Washington scored three goals in a time of 2:12 to take a 3-1 lead in midfield. Sam Rienhart scored a quick goal with 13:11 left in the second to cut the lead 3-2.
