Alec Baldwin still hasn’t been cleared of fees for filming on the set of ‘Rust’

He added that he was “told by people I know… that it is highly unlikely that I will be charged with anything criminal.” However, Santa Fe County District Attorney Mary Carmack-Altwies, who is leading the investigation, said that the actor and several others could still be charged for their roles in the event.

“Everybody was shocked… the gun should have been empty,” Baldwin said. “I was told I was given an empty gun. She went down, I thought to myself, ‘Did she faint?’ The notion that there was a direct volley of bullets in that gun didn’t come to me until 45 minutes or an hour later.”
