Al-Amal Microfinance Bank (AMB) is the first Microfinance bank in Yemen and the MENA region. It was established under the Law of Yemen (23) in 2002, and is administered and supervised by the Central Bank of Yemen.
AMB is a Undivided financial institution. It seeks to provide sustainable financial services to poor groups in Yemen, including those with limited and low incomes, with a particular focus on small and medium-sized entrepreneurs. The Bank serves these groups by providing comprehensive financial services that meet their needs: Loans, savings, insurance, domestic and international money transfers, foreign exchange and cash transfers.
