Ahmaud Arbery’s father speaks out after three Georgia men were convicted of his son’s murder; Grieving Dad Claims ‘All Life Matters’ in Emotional Statement

On Wednesday, Ahmaud Arbery’s father reacted to the guilty verdicts against three men in connection with his son’s murder, claiming that “all lives matter”.
Marcus Arbery told the following media guilty verdict. “It’s not just black kids, we don’t want to see anyone go through this. I don’t want to see any father see their child left left and shot down like that. So it’s all our problem.”
Arbery, a 25-year-old black man, was fatally shot in Brunswick, Georgia on February 23, 2020, when three men attempted to make an arrest of a citizen by chasing and cornering Arbery. into two pickup trucks.
“Keep fighting, keep working and make this a better place for all human beings,” Arbery said. “Everyone, everyone. Love everybody. All human beings should be treated equally… today is a good day. ”

Gregory McMichael and his son Travis, along with their neighbor William Bryan, could face life in prison without parole for the murder. Travis’s attorneys tried to argue that he was acting in self-defense when he shot Arbery, but prosecutors argued that Arbery was not a threat to him.
NS three men declared Arbery was the violator of recent break-ins in their neighborhood, but prosecutors assumed he was just jogging.
Travis testified that Arbery never spoke to him, threatened him or used a weapon, and when the prosecutor asked him if Arbery was “just running” during confrontation, he said yes.
The men were also wrongly sentenced to prison and face federal charges hate crime.
