Afternoon update: Scattered showers tonight before a warmer Thursday

Through tonight: Most of the rain will fall within a six-hour period from this afternoon. It will hit or miss but may become more stable before the gusts near and after midnight. Total precipitation will be at nothing, perhaps a tenth of an inch. With increased humidity levels and surrounding clouds, lows will be milder recently or mostly in the 40 to 45 zone. Winds will be from the south at about 10 mph, with occasional gusts stronger .
