After Moving Twice, Matt Gaetz Rally’s Third Venue Pulls Out

Anaheim Events Center has canceled plans to hold Representatives. Matt Gaetz (R-FL) and Marjorie Taylor Greene(R-GA) America First’s first rally tonight, making it the third venue to be canceled in the matchup.

“A planned America First rally at a private location in our city has been cancelled,” a city spokesperson said. Mike Lyster said in a statement on Saturday. “The City of Anaheim shared public safety concerns with the operator, and those concerns were shared by the operator.”

“As a city, we respect freedom of expression but also have a duty to make statements that do not reflect our city and its values,” he added.

Before the cancellation of Anaheim, two other locations in Southern California were canceled for them. The Pacific Hills Event & Party Center in Laguna Hills was canceled last week “as soon as [they] find out who’s speaking ‘to ‘make it clear’ and yesterday, Riverside Convention Center laid out plans to hold a legislators’ rally amid backlash and protests planned demonstrations.

In a tweet, Greene indicated that the event is still happening tonight – although it’s unclear where it will take place.

The America First Rally website doesn’t list a location outside of “Orange County,” but the event’s start time (7pm) remains the same.

The successive contract cancellations underscore the popularity of the two lawmakers as many have tried to distance themselves from the couple amid numerous scandals – including Gaetz’s sex trafficking allegations and a history of treason. against Greene.
