After losing 15 Motes in Gambit, a player defeats enemy defenders 7 times

Gambit can be tough as invaders take out Motes by scoring kills, but one Destiny 2 player was able to exact revenge by beating 7 opponents in a row.
Fate 2 There are a number of different activities for players to engage in, and the recently released 30th Anniversary Pack adds even more to the mix. One of the most controversial activities is Gambit, which has long been left in an unwelcome way to farm, both because Gambit-specific drops are rare and scarce and because matches can be quite unequal. Sometimes a certain team will have less than 50 Motes in the bank and the other team will burn the health of Primeval and others where invasions are frequent and very punitive.
When a player dies in Gambit, they lose all the Motes they were carrying, making an effective invasion a bit more time consuming than buying a one-man team. Likewise, an aggressor who succeeds in defeating multiple Guardians from the opposing team, even if he is not threatened, can make all the difference between winning and losing. Gambit responses are often very important in Fate 2, and that was the case with one player who shared their Gambit revenge story on Reddit, under the name grabthekitties.
While playing Gambit, the Guardians’ team was invaded by an enemy player, who negated 15 Motes of grabthekitties just before they managed to deposit. As a result, the player proceeds to invade the opposing team and exact revenge against them, quickly defeating three enemies and killing them for a total of 20 Motes using Gjallarhorn’s Hidden Perks, Grenades and Horseshoe, to destroy with close hits. Then, when the enemy respawned, the grabthekitties fired another rocket at the group and killed them all.
The Drifter eventually brings the player back to their side, and also unlocks a Triumph called Maximum Carnage. This can only be achieved whenever a certain Guardian manages to defeat a total of 7 enemies Fate 2 players in a Gambit invasion before it ends. While Gjallarhorn is instrumental in the play, it’s also a great show of skill in timing and using Hunter’s Dodge at just the right moment to reload the rocket launcher.
Hunters have been considered the weakest class in the game in PvE for a while, but Fate 2 players shared a good DPS build to make them more viable in premium content like GM Nightfalls and Master VoG. However, Gambit is a completely different monster, and skill or great constructions are not the only factors that determine who is the ultimate winner.
Fate 2 available on PC, PS4, PS5, Stadia, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
