Aegislash may be coming to Pokémon UNITE in February after new battle pass leak

When Pokémon UNITE has been shut down for serious maintenance ahead of Trevenant’s launch earlier today, players are expecting a lot of new content to be included behind the scenes of the game. And thanks to some early data, we not only have insight into what looks to be the season five battle, but also the next playable Pokémon.
The next Battle Pass, set to release after the Agent of Disastor pass ends on January 30, is Western themed and features new Holowear for Zeraora and Dragonite. But along with that leaked trailer, images and text of the Steel/Ghost-type Aegislash also appear in the files.
Aegislash, which is a spooky sword and shield that can switch between stances to attack tanks or deal massive damage, is listed as All-Rounder in the game’s data and appears to have a set of moves. includes Iron Defense, King’s Shield, Sacred Sword, and Shadow Sneak/Shadow Claw.
This continues the trend of TiMi Studio releasing multiple Pokémon from the same region continuously without regard for similarities in entry – with Decidueye and Tsareena being other examples of this in November and December.
As part of the new battle pass, Dragonite will receive a basic Western Holowear set, while Zeraora receives the Premium Holowear treatment as the ultimate reward with a classic sherrif-based outfit.
Tons of other Holowear, including what looks like a Samurai-style high-end Holowear for Charizard, musical and western-style outfits for Tsareena and Cowboy Cramorant, are also included in the newly pushed files.
A lot of this stuff won’t be confirmed until at least February, but you can expect it to continue to drop for UNITE in the next few weeks.
