Add two top leads closer to majors

Any optimism around Kansas City Royals‘future in relation to their outlook. They are expected to have a strong homegrown rotation, filled with arms drawn together. Bobby Witt Jr. is considered one of the top prospects in baseball, a five-tool teenager with the potential to become the next true superstar in the Royals organization. While other prospects will need to strengthen, the future is bright in Kansas City.

That future is getting closer and closer. Witt and Nick Pratto is one step closer to majors, as the prospect pair is set to advance to Triple-A.

The future of Kansas City Royals is getting closer

No wonder Witt is moving to Triple-A. He appears to be close to being ready for majors in spring training before being sent to Double-A to start the season. Witt had no trouble in Northwest Arkansas, posting a solid .292 / .369 / .568 hit with 16 hosts, nine doubles and 14 steals in his 271 appearances. ta.

Pratto, however, was a complete shock. His 14th pick in the 2017 MLB Draft, Pratto has been a huge disappointment so far in his career. His strength is undeveloped, he has too many spin and slide problems, and just can’t find any sustained success at the disc.

That has changed this year. Pratto began to become the player the Royals had envisioned when they recruited him, a skillful first hitter with solid bounce and incredible speed. He produced a .279 / .408 / .586 batting line with 15 home players and 13 doubles in his 267 appearances, drawing 44 walks with 76 shots.

If the Royals are to rematch in the near future, they will need their prospects to take the lead. This is not a team that will shop in the upper echelons of free agents; instead, they need to draft and develop those superstars. With Witt and Pratto one step closer to majors, they certainly hope that the future gets there soon.

The Kansas City Royals are transferring Bobby Witt Jr. and Nick Pratto to Triple-A. Their top success prospects are one step closer to majors.
