Adam Scott teases long-awaited return of ‘Party Down’

Back in 2009, Adam Scott landed his first leading role in a light-hearted comedy called Party, plays a struggling actor who returns to the catering business when his career is derailed by an embarrassing beer commercial. The hit classic series ran for only two short seasons before Starz pulled out of the show and their talented cast went on to star in long-running shows like Parks and Recreation, Glee, and Silicon Valley.
Yet somehow, when Scott and I sat down to chat earlier this month, he had just finished filming the first episode of Season 3.
“It’s really weird in a really lovely way,” said Scott, who is currently promoting his stellar new TV series. Quitpremieres today on Apple TV+, says in this preview from next week’s episode of The Last Laugh Podcast. “Just being together again in pink love – and like any group of friends, there is a special chemistry that explodes when we are together. And for the past week, we’ve all been amazed how long it’s been, but how it doesn’t feel so long when we’re all together and laughing at something stupid someone said or do. “
