Adam Sandler lights up at Haim .’s Chanukah memorial

Haim, the Grammy Award-nominated pop-rock trio of sisters Estee, Danielle, and Alana Haim, gave the Internet a wonderful Friday night gift of Chanukah on Friday.
With the caption reading “Sandler, we love you,” the trio posted an updated, fictionalized version of Adam Sandlerof “The Chanukah Song”, he debuted on Saturday night live 27 years earlier on that very night.
Like the original, the tune takes pride in Jewish celebrities and connects their names with silly rhymes. Arguably the most famous verse in Sandler’s version— “Half a Jew by Paul Newman, Goldie Hawnalso halves / Let’s put them together, what a good looking Jew! ”- has been modernized with mention of Cat Doja and Timothée Chalamet.
Also notable is the way their song begins with “Maya Rudolph light up the menorah. “Rudolph, of course, is a longtime partner of Paul Thomas Anderson-Director, Director of music video of seven Haim and the movie Licorice pizza, among them Alana is the star, and in it Este and Danielle, along with their mom and dad, appear. (Rudolph is also in the film.)
It took just over an hour for Sandler to come up with two shamashes until the video.
During the vacation, which Haim calls Haimmukah, the group has upload funny videos, raise money for charity, and give gifts to fans (expensive music equipment and tickets) Licorice pizza).
