Actor Joseph Gordon Levitt Ponders Returns to DCEU as Robin

Christopher Nolan’s fans The dark Knight the trio will probably wonder all these years later: What happened to Robin?
Back in 2012, Nolan wrapped up his superhero trilogy with Christian Bale as the playboy billionaire Bruce Wayne, who became the Wary Batman with the Dark Knight Rises epic. In that movie, Gotham City is besieged by a group of terrorists played by the domineering Bane, played by Tom Hardy.
One of the greatest Easter eggs in the movie was nearing the end of its run, when we discovered that a supporting character was played by Joseph Gordon-Levitt, benevolent cop John Blake, who had backing Batman, actually nicknamed Robin. This was, of course, a nod to the usual treachery of a crusader.
Now that the Nolan-led DC cinematic universe is just a distant memory, some fans were hoping we might get to see the long-rumored Levitt-directed Robin or Nightwing solo movie. to act.
As it turns out, the actor actually addressed the speculation as part of the Ask Me Anything post on Reddit, to promote an acting course he was teaching.
Levitt was asked by a fan: “If you were offered the role of Robin/Nightwing in a movie right now, would you sign up? If you were offered the role of Robin/Nightwing in a movie right now, would you sign up? ”
While the actor certainly made it look like the door wasn’t completely closed for that, he did say he would only return as the character if it’s the right project.
“For every project for me, it’s going to depend on the script and the director,” Levitt said. “But if I do make a movie like that, I just want to do it if it turns out great, and to be honest, I think the chances of that happening are pretty slim.”
Despite the low odds, Levitt commented that he would consider playing Robin again if the circumstances are right we hope one day it can actually happen.
