About 2,650 people are without power in Norfolk, including Norfolk State University

NORFOLK, Va. (WAVY) – About 2,650 Dominion Energy customers were without power on Monday, including Norfolk State University.

Dominion spokeswoman Paula Miller said the cause was a broken arm on a power pole.

Miller said the outage should be restored around 12-12:30 p.m. Crews have been dispatched.
