A complete list of temples of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints

President Russell M. Nelson introduced plans to build 20 more temples through the closing session of the 191st Annual General Conference in April.

One month later, he revealed plans for a new temple in Ephraim, Utah, as a part of a particular announcement associated to the pioneer period Manti Temple.

Temples play a central function in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

They’re used for the religion’s highest and most sacred ordinances, similar to marriage and making covenants with God to be extra like Jesus Christ. Ordinances for the deceased are additionally carried out in temples, together with baptisms for the dead.
