NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) — Police say an 87-year-old man, 38-year-old girl and her 6-year-old son had been the victims of a violent house invasion-robbery Monday in Brooklyn.
It occurred shortly earlier than 7 p.m. inside a residential constructing on Warren Avenue close to third Avenue in Boerum Hill.
Police stated two suspects knocked on the condominium door and compelled their approach inside.
One man allegedly slapped the 87-year-old within the face and threatened him with a hammer earlier than tying him to a chair.
Police stated the second man then pointed a gun on the girl and youngster.
The victims had been positioned in a toilet, because the suspects made off with $8,000, a pockets and cellphone.
