7 Marvel One-Shots TV Series Just Added to Disney Plus

Bit by bit, Disney Plus is getting closer and closer to being the streaming home of every piece of MCU content. While Spiderman Movies are still limited for the time being, the platform just surprised fans this Friday by adding seven Marvel Studios short films to their library in the United States. That means Marvel fans can now revisit the complete collection of their beloved Marvel One-Shots.

Originally released as a DVD add-on, primarily during the One-Year Phase, One-Shots are short interludes of varying lengths that bring together beloved characters for a little adventure or extra. Some background on events from one of the movies. Disney Plus previously did in 2014 All Hail the King, featuring Ben Kingsley’s Trevor Slattery, available last year for release Shang-Chi.

Here’s the full list of seven One-Shots dropped on Disney Plus today:

• A funny thing happened on the way to Thor’s hammer (2011)

• Team Thor: Parts 1 & 2 (2017)

Consultant stars Clark Gregg’s Phil Coulson, alongside Jasper Sitwell (Maximiliano Hernandez), and explains the continuity error of Iron Man introducing the Avengers to General Ross in The Incredible Hulk. A Funny Thing… Once again there is Gregg’s Coulson, as SHIELD agents carry out a gas station robbery en route to New Mexico. Meanwhile, Item 47, starring Lizzy Caplan, Jesse Bradford, and Hayley Atwell’s Agent Carter, are basically backdoor pilots for The leader’s minions and Agent Carter TV series.

Team Thor, divided into two parts, is a simulation-style look at what Thor has achieved in the events of Captain America: Civil War. Although not officially part of the One-Shot brand, these shorts were similarly released on home video, specifically on Sorcerer Supreme Blu-ray. Taika Waititi then directed a follow-up for Thor: Ragnarok Blu-ray brought Thor’s roommate back to Darryl, this time alongside Jeff Goldblum’s Grandmaster.
