Nicolas Cage has been in a lot of movies over the years, including many Marvel movies like Ghost Rider and Spider-Man: Get In Spiderverse. But if he joins Marvel Cinematic Universe, who would be the perfect character for him to play?
5. Hunter Kraven
Aaron Taylor-Johnson is expected to play Kraven the Hunter in a standalone Sony Spider-Man villain film, as Venom and Morbius. But what if Disney decided to cast the character a little bigger? Image of Nicolas Cage in lion fur, looking like he’d been ripped off with a sniper rifle and speaking with an Eastern European accent. It can be wonderful, or it can be reminiscent of Mr. Freeze by Arnold Schwarzenegger from Batman and Robin.
4. Ghost Rider
Played Ghost Rider twice in Ghost Rider and Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance, Cage may not be at the right age to return as Johnny Blaze. Unless the MCU chooses to have Johnny Blaze serve as more of a mentor to younger Robbie Reyes like Sam Elliot’s Carer did Ghost Rider.

Voiced this character in Spider-Man: Into the Spiderverse, if they ever bring the character into the MCU through the multiverse then Nicolas Cage would be a good choice for the cherished version of Spider-Man.

This Dr. Strange villain is rumored to appear in Doctor Strange in Madness’ Multiverse. The ruler of the dream space, Nightmare is a demon that sucks power from dreamers. Nicolas Cage fits the comic book version of Nightmare so he could be a great fit. Not to mention he will most likely be able to take out the character’s otherworldly madness.

The top pick on this list, Spider-Man villain Morlun is the perfect pick for Nicolas Cage. Morlun is a Spider-Man hunter who hunts down anyone with Spider DNA. He kills these Spider-Mans and sucks their blood to prolong his life force. Nicolas Cage would be perfect for the eternal character, if he were introduced in the MCU.
