5 best documentaries on Netflix this weekend: Heist and more

There are a lot of good documentary on Netflix right now. Netflix New documentaries are always added, especially true crime documentaries, so we’ve put together a list of the best documentaries to watch on Netflix this weekend. (July 24, 2021).

We’ve tried to make sure there’s something for everyone, but there’s just too much out there. Everyone has different preferences about documentaries and documentaries. I’m a fan of almost everything when it comes to documentation, but my favorites are animal/planet documentaries, food documentaries, and of course, real crime, although they’re always makes me quite sad.

Let’s check out this weekend’s list of the best documentaries on Netflix starting with the Netflix Top 10 documentaries, Theft.

Best Documentaries on Netflix

1. Heist

Theft premiered on Netflix on July 14. The docuseries focuses on three different heists and tells the story in two parts, so there are six episodes in the first season of the doc.

If you like bank robberies and true crime stories that delve into the ridiculous, then Heist is the show for you on Netflix. Fans can’t get enough of this documentary, and it’s been on Netflix’s Top 10 list since it premiered in mid-July.

Fans are also hoping Theft season 2! Hopefully Netflix has more of where this series originated!

2. Naomi Osaka

Naomi Osaka, the tennis star who just carried the torch at the Tokyo 2020 (or 2021?), is featured in a new movie Netflix Original documentary series. It’s an absolute must-see for tennis fans, sports fans and anyone interested in becoming an international star at such a young age and all the things, good and bad, that come along. with it.

3. Sophie: A Murder in West Cork

Here’s the pick for true crime fans after you watch (or even before) Heist on Netflix this weekend. Sophie: A Murder in West Cork tells the story of the murder of Sophie Toscan Du Plantier in Ireland. The investigation spanned decades.

4. Seasonal weather

Seasonal weather is an original Netflix investigative documentary that explores the problems of commercial fishing, pollution, and human rights violations and how all of those issues relate to climate change, environment, etc. It’s an extended look at the seafood industry.

5. Can hear

Can be heard tells the story of Amaree McKenstry, a star soccer player at the Maryland School for the Deaf. The documentary follows the life of McKenstry, growing up deaf in a deaf family, etc. The documentary also focuses on how McKenstry and his friends deal with the death of a close friend.
