2K launches unnanounced ‘XCOM Legends’ mobile strategy game

2KCK launched a new unannounced mobile game on mobile yesterday, the list XCOM Legends on the Google Play store seemingly out of nowhere.

XCOM Legends‘store description lists it as a team RPG featuring a wave-based campaign mode and PVP battles with a team of up to five heroes. Players can unlock legendary heroes to use in battles and collect rewards through play.

Similar to other XCOM title, Legendary revolves around an alien invasion. Players take control of XCOM, the last remaining resistance group that can fight off the alien invaders ADVENT.

XCOM Legends currently in early access on Google Play Store and is only available in specific territories. The listing does not provide any additional information about the early access nature of the game or how long the team will continue to develop it.

According to store records, Legendary There is also an in-game purchase feature. It doesn’t specify how they are implemented in the game, but it can be linked to legendary items and characters.

Not like 2K before XCOM port, Legendary handled by a little known group called Iridium Starfish. The developer has no other projects on the Google Play store profile and their website has nothing but a logo.

According to the developer Bizapedia site, Iridium Starfish was opened last April. The only contact listed on the page is Take-Two’s address, so it’s likely that the developer is owned by Take-Two . interaction, also own Rockstar game and 2KCK.

In other places, Xbox Series X|S led hardware sales in June in the US. News from market research company NPD, announced that the console has the highest dollar sales for the month.

However, Nintendo Switch remains the best-selling console overall, while Sony PS5 sold quickly. Unfortunately, supply chain issues have limited console sales.
