$10,000 for Multiplayer YouTuber Breath of the Wild Bounty Is Under Criticism

Game fans and developers are responding to a YouTube User Challenge to modify multiplayer into The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild.
The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild Rated as one of the best games in recent memory. But one YouTuber feels as though it’s missing something important that could push it over the edge: Multiplayer. They present a challenge for anyone to modify Breath of the Wild, although the challenge is currently being criticized on social media.
Content creators and Breath of Wild Speedrunner PointCrow feels that Breath of the Wild Feeling empty sometimes and offering $10,000 challenge for anyone who can create a mod that allows 2 to 4 players to live in the world among many other things they want to add to the game’s sandbox. Game developers and other notables are criticizing the audacity of the challenge as well as the amount of “prize” given for the amount of work required and certain provisions of the bounty.
Sam Sharma, Product Manager at Bungie, posted a screenshot of the title from TheGamer and criticized the challenge. His stance is that the broader community of gamers doesn’t understand how difficult and expensive it is to develop games, with so many examples like Fables delayed or under development for many years. A tweet from Danny O’Dwyer of the game documentary on the YouTube channel “NoClip” countering Sharma’s criticisms stating that some game developers “tend to say what fans want to hear.” “, identifies himself as a past practitioner and cites his years to see what goes into game development for his channel.
Others are scoffing at the bounty, calling $10,000 a joke about the work it takes to get it done Breath of a Wild there is a possibility of multiplayer, with some developers claiming that the bonuses alone are virtually impossible to do. The effort and hours of development work to rebuild the game will essentially exceed the winnings. One final nail in the coffin of this game development will be that the game in question is a Nintendo IP and it is cruel to any modification its games. With the stipulation that PointCrow wants exclusive streaming from the winners, it establishes them the ability to profit from the mod and Nintendo will look to cut back.
There are some fans who are defending the spirit of the challenge, citing the gameplay history that PointCrow modders have with other single-player open world games like Sekiro and The Elder Scrolls: Skyrim. The latter, of course, is famous for being the playground of modders and Bethesda tends to be more open to modification than Nintendo. Defenders also claim that these modifiers have mostly done it for free for other games, so an incentive to do so Breath of the Wild The multiplayer mode is a good deal.
The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild Now available on Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Wii U.
